David’s Kaleidoscope Silver Schemes Collection is shareware and costs $10.
I have worked long and hard to create this package. If you decide to keep on using it beyond the 15-day trial period, please honor the shareware system by registering your copy (see the enclosed documentation for more info). Registrations are handled by Kagi Shareware.
For the latest versions of my shareware packages, visit my home page located at <http://www.eleves.ens.fr:8080/home/daix/index.html>
Description:
David’s Kaleidoscope Silver Schemes Collection contains sixteen new color schemes for use with Kaleidoscope. Ten of those schemes are inspired by Aaron, but have been almost completely rewritten to offer what I hope is a very enjoyable experience to Kaleidoscope users. The remaining six are “Bonus Schemes” which provide colorful alternatives.
I have also designed a collection of “Hi-Tech” color schemes based on Eclipse, David’s Kaleidoscope Hi-Tech Schemes Collection, available on Info-Mac (look in the “gui” directory for a file named “kalscp-hitech-schemes.hqx” or “kaleidoscope-hitech-schemes.hqx”) and AMUG (<http://www.amug.com>). It contains twenty more schemes. Give it a try ! You can register both collections at once and save $5 (see the enclosed documentation for more info).
NB: if version 1.5 of Kaleidoscope has been released when you read this, it means new and updated versions of my collections have been too. You’ll find them on my home page located at <http://www.eleves.ens.fr:8080/home/daix/index.html>.
Installation:
When you’re done reading this quick presentation, press the “Continue” button at the bottom right corner of this window (or press the enter/return key). You’ll be presented with a standard installer window. Choose either the “Demo Install” option or the “Full Install” one. You’ll need a password to access some of the files installed during a “Full Install”. Kagi will send it to you when you register (if you’ve already registered, then you must have received a registration confirmation containing the needed password).
• All online services, bulletin boards and non-profit user groups may make it available to their users at no charge (other than the normal connection fees where applicable).
• This package may be distributed on CD-ROMs and Floppies. I’d like to receive a copy of those though. Thanks.
• The latest version of this package will always be available on Info-Mac and Umich (and their mirrors), on AMUG, as well as on my Homepage located at <http://www.eleves.ens.fr:8080/home/daix/index.html>.

You can find another shareware of mine, Software & Hardware Tracker, on Info-Mac (look for it under "app/software-hardware-tracker.hqx") as well as on my homepage. It’s a File Maker Pro 3.0 database that will help you collect, store and organize useful information (such as registration codes, serial numbers, product notes, useful adresses as well as phone/fax numbers and URLs for software authors, companies and distributors, etc.) about all your computer products. Even better, you can launch URLs directly from inside the database, which will then call upon the Internet Config system to open them with the proper helper applications. Check it out! You won’t regret it…
Enjoy and have fun!
Enjoy those schemes of mine, and please don’t forget to register your shareware.
